As a web designer at Nettl, I specialise in designing and building responsive websites including e-commerce sites. I also frequently get my hands dirty with brand development and graphic design for print purposes.

I started off at Nettl Petone being trained with WordPress and web design but am now the sole designer at the Nettl Wellington branch.

One of my main highlights of working for Nettl was being part of the entire design process, from the client meeting, to the final product.

Key responsibilities:

• Brand development;
• Project management;
• Building responsive sites using WordPress;
• Advertising, marketing & design of branded collateral;
• Working with existing brand and brand guidelines;
• Nettl website, and social media updates;
• Project planning and management on site builds;
• Initial set-up, on-going development and support of key accounts;
• Updating and testing 40+ websites regularly;
• working as a team and individually to problem solve frequently

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to apply and improve a broad range of skills working with a large range of projects during my time here.

Major tasks

• Designing and creating documents from newsletters to magazines to annual reports and more;
• Developing Brand Identity from the creation of logos, to producing business cards, letter heads and other collateral;
• Following Brand guidelines when necessary for design work;
• Adjustment of files provided in various formats in order to meet print specifications;
• Brainstorming, designing and implementing marketing materials;
• Webdesign via software known as Brambl;
• Major role in the development of our photographer’s brand identity;
• preflighting of jobs for print;

My more recent freelance work has been a collaboration with my Partner Ganu Gonsalkorale, we have done this work under the name of Spot and Lead, you can see some of our work here

These include digital and printed media for a vast array of clients including:

and many others..

One of my main highlights of working for Sysdoc was being part of the entire design
process, from idea generating to the final product

I worked within brand guidelines and strict  specifications to help develop the content for the final products. Here I picked up great skills in Adobe Indesign and furthered my existing skill in Adobe Illustrator
